:) I had the same problem with my mid tower case. I had to rip out a few handles that were holding in the hard drives and shift my HD down a step.

Had the same problem, had a real panic that I'd just bought a card that was not gonna fit in my case, thats why the housing for my next PC is gonna have 'room for expansion' top of the list of requirements :P

Here we go I think its pretty powerful.

Mobo:
M2N-SLI Deluxe

CPU:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400 (Black Edition)

Cooler:
Scythe SCORC-1000 CPU Cooler <- One of the best I had

Memory:
OCZ SLI-Ready Edition 4GB DDR2 800 x2 2GB! If I ever get Vista X64, I might get 4 More gigs, right now it is a dual channel.

Video Card:
BFG GeForce 8800GT x2 SLI 512MB Got those babies cheap at a store closing.

PSU:
MSI TurboStream 1000W

Hard Drives:
Maxtor DiamondMax 21 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0GbS

Not sure who made the case.

Any upgrades? I think its powerful enough for me. Its in the basement, I play on it during the summer, FPS Games
Everyday it is working on my laptop.

Scythe SCORC-1000 CPU Cooler...

How big is your case that cooler looked huge!

I'm thinking of purchasing this

Anyone have any thoughts or experience with this particular chip? (or whether or not stock cooling provided will be adequate?)

The cooler sits straight "out" right?

case side | cooler <- cpu

?
