More tutorials

Hi

From experience I know, that there are so many talented people using this site, which the rest of us (like my self) envy for your skills and knowledge. That is also why I could wish for some more tutorials inside this forum, that newbies like me could learn a lot from.
Personally I would be very interested in a tutorial of newer date about integrating Flash, PHP and MySQL to build a secure login system in Flash or just making data appear in your flash movie from the database, or making a tournament with (lets say) 4 players, where everybody compete one time against each other etc.

At the same time I would like to thanks all your talented people for using a lot of your time to help the rest of us, I really appreciate that very much :) :^:
And a special thanks to thehat for his great help :) :^: :^: :^:

Thanking a hat? But it is just a hat. Why would you thank an article of clothing? I think you have issues. jk

A lot of people are writing tutorials all the time. Maybe not in flash, but certainly elsewhere. Just look at the people go in the top 10 contributors list. They are submitting tutorials and snippets all the time. If you want a specific tutorial made, all you need to do is go to the forum on the topic you would like a tutorial on (like this flash site) and if they don't already have a topic about tutorial requests, just ask for one.

I think the idea of a tutorial request thread for each forum is in the works and it is just a matter of time before they all have this feature.

Glad you are getting the help you needed though... even if I am not just a hat. :)

I know there is a lot of tutorials in the other forums (like PHP and database), but when you are new to programming, it can be hard to integrate those tutorials in your flash movie. However what I meant by my post was, not only Flash/database tutorials, but all kind of tutorials. I just wrote some suggestions based on my interest, thats all :)

Oh I know... and I am saying that there new tutorials being put out all the time. Just throw out the requests in the proper area and it prompts the experts to write tutorials on those subjects. Usually the only thing holding them back is topic area. When you have 400+ tutorials, it gets pretty hard to think of something that hasn't already been covered.

Maybe i need to read a tutorial about, how to manage around this page :D , but if I push the tutorial button in the top and then look at flash tutorials, there are only 9.
By the way, I posted a topic called

Quote

how to make a league based game
where I asked about tutorials about the given subject, but no one could help me.
However if you have any idea where to find a tutorial like that, or would create one, I would appreciate that very much :) :^:
