Im on the brink of killing it!

ARRRGH!!!

Theres a German Sheppard/ alsation dog in a house behind mine that does nothing but bark and the owners wont do nothing.

Should i kill it????!!!!!!!!!!!! i cant have my window open without it barking away... I have even gotten my headphones on and i can STILL hear it :crazy: :angry:

Killing it may not be the wisest or most legal way of dealing with the problem.

Perhaps contact authorities about noise pollution?
Or contact ASPCA and tell them you suspect the neighbors of abusing it?

heh... yeah... that'll teach me to not pay attention to the little flags....

one day, I will learn not to assume everyone is american.

but for now, I'm gonna blame my hair color :P

erm double glazing windows is awesome .. i have had to close my window and setup my fan.. its better than having my blood boil.

Look. Buy a bag of soft doggie treats. Go to granda's house, raid her medicine cabinet of those little pills marked valium... toss one over the fence, and give the pup 10mgs, he'll sleep the rest of the day.

Either that, or raid Grandpa's medice cabinet, and slip the pup 2 of those little blue pills, and he'll be "UP" the rest of the day...

Viagra, Valium... Either way the dog will be happy, and quiet....

Not a whole lot can be done about the neighbor's dog. If you're real geeky, you can set up a speaker with a mic that picks up it's bark, amplifies it, and sends it back. This could set up a feedback loop, but it's still amusing.

Seriously, invest in a dog whistle. Most breeds hate the sound. While it barks, you blow. When it stops, you stop. Fido might figure it out.

or get good speakers for your computer and make a really high pitched tone so its like the whistle, but more technical

Holes in the fence are bad things. Gee... I sure hope that fence doesn't develope a hole. It would be aweful if a hole got in that fence, and that poor, loveable dog escaped. Holes are bad things... I'm sure you would tell your neighbor as SOON as you noticed a HOLE in the fence....

One of my dad's old dogs was poisoned by a neighbor. Guess they didn't like the barking... :(

I thought about anti-freeze treats for my neighbors dog, but I realize it isn't the dog's fault it is locked in the garage for hours on in when no one is home. I think I will attempt the dog whistle trick, sounds like a winner as long as it can hear it through the garage door.
