Has anyone seen the story about the Austrian man who confessed the he locked his daughter in a windowless cell, with a sound proof door for 24 years??? The article when on to say he raped and tortured her and even fathered 7 children with her. One of these kids he threw into an incenerator when he found it had died....
He is now 73... Which means he wouldn't last a year in prison. There should be a way to torture that bastard until the day he dies.

My question is... 7 children? This means that he either birthed them himself, so he has some idea of how to doctor children, or has someone come into this cave & birth the children. At some point someone should have stepped in & put a stop to this. There had to be some paperwork, or something.

I was wondering that exact same thing, more to the point of how can you have six children, and no way to account for them. Unless he had a hook up with the black market somehow. Also, I pictured the movie "Nell" where the girl lived in the woods, and had a language of her own. It made me wonder what mental state of development the girl is at. The article I read mentioned nothing of the girls mother. I think she must have died, or she would have noticed her missing after 24 years...

I was kind of hoping this topic would have spun off into toughening laws, or into theories of the mans mind at work... How people get away with stuff like this for years and years, or maybe even KYA could have opened up our eyes and showed us how it was a government cover up... but I see early that's not gonna happen.
