I bought a new car. I've been in the works of picking out my new best friend for the better part of the week and I decided on a 2008 Chevy Malibu Classic LS.

This is a big step for me, I've financed plenty of cars but I've never purchased anything brand new, nor have I ever spent close to this much money or had a commitment like this before.

It's well equipped, 3.5L V6 (32 MPG Hwy), power everything, HD radio, it has the GM information center that shows everything from oil life to tire pressure, I love it.

I took her for a drive today, and I have a few pictures to share -

I've never driven one before and I don't particularly care for Chevy's maintenance record, so I think it's a valid question considering I know nothing about it.

You guessed right. Very smooth, tight feeling suspension. But soft enough that I can barely feel the very rough RR crossing here in town. The same crossing would feel like it's ripping my undercarriage apart on my last vehicle.
