mmmmm yea, those where the years of 'perfect' games. Sim city 2000, Day of the Tentacle, Putt Putt, Descent... You name it, they where all perfect, they are the only games where you could actually play them for two weeks straight and not get bored of the game. Perhaps it was because we where all a lot younger? I don't think so. So lets just take the time to name our favourites...
My absolute favourite was Sim City 2000, it was a simple game, but it was such a "fresh" game concept, thus making it playable for days upon days upon days.
How about yours?

Every game you named was awesome, also I'd like to ad Sin into that list, simply because it was a fun game (I mean come on, how many other games have a robot doing the Macarena?) Need for Speed was always a great game, and until Motor City Online it has continued to improved.

I actually like Tetris, Pong, Space Invaders and that kinda games more than the super cool 3d first person shooters and that sorta things. Those games really are more addictive than the new games.

I will swear by any Lucas arts adventure game out there. Manic Manson is a favorite, Monkey Island, even the Indy games, and damn grim fandango could any game ever be better... remember that game Loom, play spells on a musical stick, some of the oddest game play ever...
Sierra I always liked the police quest games, kings quest 3 was the only one I ever got into in that series.
Id software invents the 1st person games and all hell brakes loose, doom, descent, wolf 3d, quake 1... amazing games. But then lucusarts owns this genre with all Jedi Knight and x-wing tie fighter.
Cheers Sam
