Apparently, for anyone that doesn't know what is going on is, the Papa John's franchise has to apologize for the actions of a store that printed tee-shirts with LeBron James' number with 'crybaby' written over the number but under the Papa John's logo. A store in Washington DC printed the shirts as part of a promotional effort to boost sales from Washington fans before the game, but it was not approved nationally by the chain. Some fans wore them to the game and an online blogger/ Wizards fan named Jon Eick from a popular food blogging site named 'sogoodblog.com' spread the word around.
Papa John's cooperate office issued an official apology to the team and to LaBron James and is currently selling pizzas for $0.23 and donating the proceeds along with 10K to the Cavaliers charity.
More to come.
