Mini RC cars

Posted 09 May 2008 - 09:03 AM

I know we had a cube toys topic, but it is a bit different :)
So do you have any? We have 4 here, so there is a good rally sometimes across the offices. We have even built a bridge between two tables (finally a good use for duct tape and business cards), so you can commando there and push down random items from the colleague's desk :D
This is mine:

I also have a helicopter, but I am training with it at home before going for a mission:

I had 4 of those little RC mini tanks but they broke pretty easy. They were cool while they lasted though nothing quite like a small scale panzer charge

At my moms work they use nerf guns and shoot at each other. I was there once when a war broke out.

Its not a mini, but I got an RC helicopter the other day. These things are fun as hell. It just sucks that the battery lasts only 20 minutes and then gota charge for 1.45 hours. I fly it around my living room or outside if its not too windy. When I get good at this one, I hope to move up to a 3D capable chopper so I can do some aerobatics. There are some people that do crazy tricks with them.

Yes, we are planning on getting tanks as well they look really funny.
Since this is not my first car, I know that they break really easily, but this one is well over 20 fall downs from the tables, and still quite OK. The first one met it's nemesis in my daughter, she was chewing on it's tires and antenna.

3D helis are really fun. I am planning on getting a slightly stronger one, because mine can't really handle my windy room, the smallest wind can blow it sideways :( (It is almost impossible to fly it through my door, because of the draught, but luckily my room is big enough)

I have 2 of those Air Hogs mini helicopters that can shoot each other down with RF signals. They are pretty cool.

I have all sorts of RC toys.

I have two of those Airhog Mini Choppers, four of those little cars with like mod kits and stuff. I built my own Micro RC plane, using the guts of on of the cars. Just had to buy a new motor and a bigger Li-po battery. It was pretty cool while it lasted.

Then I have three RC cars, two electric airplanes, and a RC hovercraft I bought in China.

Yeah I used to love that stuff haha.
