Javascript is not the right tool for this. While it may technically be possible, it will require very in depth knowledge of both javascript and the PDF format . There are a number of available PHP, Perl, Python and probably Ruby modules that will handle the conversion for you, so your best bet is to make a form that you can upload the PDF to, and have the server convert the file and send it back to the user .
