If no one else wants to pick it up, I will. Just not right now. I have too many projects on my plate as it is.

I still think it's a good idea.

While I too have a lot on the old plate (I swear I'm half an hour late anywhere I go anymore...) How does one "pick it up"? I'm guessing that you mean the sourceforge project. I would be interested in helping out, or running it for some time, & eventually handing it off to someone else.

I think there's a way to takeover inactive Sourceforge projects. Alternatively, Nykc is on the developers list. If he has admin he could add new members.
Or we could just start another Sourceforge project.
But to be honest, I really do need to finish the stuff I'm working on. If someone else does decide to take this over in the meantime, I'd love to contribute every once in awhile, or read things over if someone want's an opinion of something. I'm not an expert, but I've been hacking around in Linux for maybe 6-7 years now.

Not sure of the status of this either, I have not heard from Akelo in a week or so, but I just got back from NY.
I too have a lot on the plate but like the idea and would love to contribute.

Since everyone is busy anyways, we might as well let this sit for a week or two to see if he turns up.

Sounds good. We need to organize a IRC session or something.
I am EST or I believe that is GMT -5

I hate to say it, but IRC is no good for me, as I'm never home anymore.
However, if you do start a room, I can have a bot attend, soes I can read all the jib-jab.

Smoke signals.
Seriously, I'm just hardly ever at home, IRC would work just as good as anything else. I just can't commit to a time or day. Right now...
