How to remove background color of the picture using photoshop?

Hi there! Does anyone know how to remove the background of the picture, which the background color is green or blue. Is there any filter (plug - in) included in Photoshop for this function? Like in the Adobe Premiere there is a plug-in filter called "Chroma Keyer", which can remove the background color like what I mean.

Not sure if this is what you mean, but you could go to SELECT > COLOR RANGE then pick what color and the tolerance. then when the background is selected, hit the delete button.

If it's just a one-tone background, try right-clicking on the eraser tool, and selecting "Magic Eraser."

Then, just click on the background.

KeyLight.. Extensis..Primatte Chroma key, zMatte, ultiMatte<, those are few of them.. :blink:

You can also use Filter--Extract. (to delete the background)

Download "Renders" if you just want an image with out a background:

you can also desaturate each color channel...

OR

make a new layer on top, fill it with black, and erase the parts of the black layer that you want to see in color.

Use GIMP. Add alpha channel. Fuzzy select background. Press delete. Done.

Silly Photoshoppers..... :P
