What is the oldest console you've ever played on?
Mine is probably The Game Cube.
But then i wanst into technology i was into football(english) and other british popular sports. But now i love both.
The game cude was interesting but the graphics compared to the Xbox 360 were rubbish.

I grew up playing on the Atari 2600. However, I did have a relative that had the original Pong system. Where it was like 4 different types of Pong, with attached controllers.

Mine has to be the NES but Im sure I played on one that was older that you loaded tapes in to and it took ages to load anything but I cant remember what it was called and its not on this website http://www.old-compu...eum/default.asp which happens to be quite a chuckle when you look at some of the older systems.

PONG! Though Atari 2600 for the most part. Ultimately an Atari 800, one of the early PCs. Where, using BASIC to push, pop, and peek at hardware values, we ultimately wrote, wait for it, PONG!
Those dinky little Atari joysticks were tough. Like throw them across the room, bounce off the ceiling, wash the sticky mystery liquid off them tough. We used them until the soft plastic disintegrated and all you had left was an accusing little plastic rod poking out of an anonymous black box with all the writing worn off.
Proof positive that amusement had little to do with graphic quality. It's not like we didn't have a comparison, the stuff in the arcades was way beyond anything you could play at home. It's hard now to understand the hype of Pacman for the Atari, because it looked hideous even by the standards of the day; but people stood in line for it anyway.

Or the cracking & popping sounds those things made... & you would hammer the shit out of the lone button until you thumb wanted to fall right off!

You know what was special about those games, not the graphics or the storyline, but the fact you were playing for pride and bragging rights (High Score).
Kaboom, Defender, Centipede - those were great. I remember playing Maze Craze and Adventure, Berserk those were the good old days.
And stop the press but I just realized Xbox Live has Ye Ar Kung Fu! FTW

I used to have a wood grain 2600 back in the day. The Absolute worst game ever was ET walk walk walk holy fuck where did that pit come from no point and now way to win.
Then the Nintendo Entertainment system showed up and I was like OMG saved up $100 and bought one just to play duck hunt at home instead of at show biz pizza. ( I still want to shoot the damn dog)

Funny you mentioned ET, yes it was the worst game in the world. Did you ever see the Code Monkeys episode where they make fun of it?

Arg! I swear, I must be the only person in the entire world that found this game fun. Receintly I went back & played it just to double check. It's fine...
You pick up Reeses-pieces for energy, you collect the phone pieces, you fall into drainage ditches, the fbi comes after you, & you finally call home & get rescued.
The game is fine. Leave it alone!
Pac Man... Raiders of the lost arc. These were games that totally sucked.
