Hello. How do i connect a database(i'm using Sybase) to vb.net? what is the coding like? How do I create a login userID and password to be stored in the database and retrived? Please help as time is not on my side. Please.

Add your sybase to the Data Sources list using Administrative tools in Control Panel. Then in Visual studio click on the Data menu, then click on add new data source, select ODBC and find your database.

Thanks again. I will try to do it. Sounds pretty easy. Thanks again. But the userID that i'm about to retrieve is in a label form to be diaplayed at every page. How is that possible.
