I am building an igloo! Well, not really because it is scorching hot here in Vancouver but we had a great day on Sunday where someone tried to barbeque
on their balcony which tripped off the fire alarm and set off their sprinkler system. Water was spraying out the side of the building onto the people below. Luckily it was like upper 80F out so it felt like a gentle rain.

Did I mention non programmers are dumb asses? hehe

Nope, no fireworks generally (except large city wide displays). 4th of July is much more fun in my opinion. Canadians use more fireworks on Halloween for some reason. Explain that logic.

hehe :)

That's because you live in hippie haven, otherwise known as Vancouver. You granola eating bike riders want a good party for the 1st, come on down to the capital! ;)

While there are a multitude of drinking options mixed with various types of explosives, I spent the day at the cottage with some friends. Nice and relaxing.

Thanks for the good wishes Skyhawk!

We ate Chinese food. My American half wouldn't let my Canadian half celebrate.

Then you don't actually have a true Canadian half. If you did, you'd know - we don't take shit. :)

Dude he's right! Wtf?! No fireworks? lol.. oh and on Halloween we call it fire! The fireworks part is just to help start a fire in the freaking cold :).

Happy canada day, hope yall get to see some hot drunk girls ;). Oh yeah and take it easy on the beer if you have work tomorrow.

Yeah I saw the capital on the news... you guys know how to throw a party. All the old ladies wearing the canadian flag dancing around in queens park. It was either Ottawa or a retirement home. Couldn't tell.

LOL I do, I've just been in America for too long... my American half is a lot tougher now. ;) Perhaps a sense of self preservation.
