Giveaway Of The Day.com

Posted 06 July 2008 - 01:43 PM

In case you have never visited Giveaway Of The Day, it is a site that offers software you would normally have to pay to get... for free! (different item each day). Lately, though, their software either sucks, or they don't even have software available. I guess they just aren't able to negotiate software companies into giving them software. They haven't had anything for the past 2 days so far. Hopefully, they will come back some time.

Is This A Good Question/Topic? 0

I have never visited the site, but wanted to say that the code in your signature represents painfully unacceptable coding standards. In addition to some small items, recursively calling the main function is an extremely poor idea.

For this month, only the 5th and 6th of July seem to be empty. It's probably hard to find software that can be given for free. Altough it's basicaly a free advertisment for their software, I can see why a software developper wouldn't like to hand out his software for free.
