A genuine newbie to vb.net...no kidding! As such I've been watching a video about Delegates, and can't make head nor tail of it
So, whilst surfing the net looking for answers, I came across this site...thought to myself, 'If I can't get an answer here, I might as well just pack up and forget about learning to program in vb.net. LOL

Could someone please take pity and give me some useful, but simple, advise about these delegate things? Some help...any help!!, would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks too you all...in anticipation.

As a newbie, i can understand most of the basic concepts, but can't seem to grasp the bigger picture, i.e. putting it all together for real. Is this common to most newbies, or am I on my own here?

There is a nice article on DeveloperFusion.com that discusses Delegates, and gives a pretty good explanation of what they are, and how they are useful.
