Launch of XP

Posted 24 October 2001 - 04:36 PM

Okay folks...while the nerds are gone...at the Official Microsoft Launch of XP (chokes on breath) I am still in shock that they would actually go. I would actually consider going just too see all the "next Bill Gates" out there.  So what do they get anyway...a free pen.
LOL

"screw Microsoft!", he says, as he posts using IE5. :)

man, it sure is slow in here. sloth's internet is broken (hahahahaha...broken. that cracks me up), and the DIC XP crew are in a hotel somewhere in colorado, suspiciously eyeing each other and wondering which one of them is the real gay man. :)

dude, yeah.

my g/f (who i just got but have been friends with for a while) always thought it was a more geeky venture. but after i started hooking her up with the more finer things for her taste ;) she thinks its a very nice buisness. lmao.

its hilarious, a friend came up 2 me and said he worked all day and got 100 bucks. im like , yeah, i built a site design in 30 minutes and made double that. :) lmao. again.

You mean OS 10.1 don't you? :)  Ah yes, the LEAST that you could possibly get payed for web design is ฮ an hour.  You know, if you worked for that for just 2 hours a day, 5 days a week, you'd make like ũ,300 a month.  That's good cash if you're still in high school.  And that's the least you could get paid! :)  GO NERDS!! :)

And of course we chose 20 Questions... God dude... I have not had such a bad time while having such a good time in my life.

To bad that hot front desk chick didn't join us :(

And dude, the friggin PCMajik dude (Troy - LammaDog) couldn't find hooters in his own city! He drove around the mall for 20 minutes, I finally got to meet him... for about 30 seconds as we were WAY late for our hotel... oh well, that's life!

I'm having trouble though recalling some of the evening now, so maybe Will can fill us in with the juicy details.
