I dun need no stinking books!

I refer to the giant black binder full of crap I keep on my desk at all times - remove it only under penalty of death. And for the answers I can't find in my binder full of crap, there's Google. And when Google lets me down, there's DIC. Not once, not ever, has DIC steered me wrong.

A place that I worked at gave this book out, along with some Java book that was 5+ years old, to everyone that was brought into our department.

Mine is Code Complete 2 as well. I have mentioned it here on the boards many times and highly recommend it to anyone. It isn't exactly language specific, but its teachings certainly work across multiple languages and I have successfully applied it to at least 5 languages myself.
