The 100,000th member (by count, not member id) joined at 7:35AM MST today. I was thinking yesterday how big DIC is compared to some towns and even cities. The town I grew up in here in New Mexico had 50,000 people when I first moved there. And Albuquerque had around 100,000 at the time.
I think the best thing is while we may have 100,000 members, we still have a very close knit group of people who are really part of the DIC family.
Thanks to everyone who has helped over the years. The alumni, current team, mentors, experts, authors, contributors, and every member that has taken the time to stop by and ask or answer a question. If it weren't for you guys, it would still be me, myself, and I sitting in the caffeine lounge talking to myself like I was 7 1/2 years ago.

If it wasn't for you, Chris, none of us would be here today.
Thank you for bringing this wonderful community together. It is, by far, the best programming community on the internet today.
Congrats, on creating such a wonderful place where we can all come together to discuss ideas and share our troubles and tribulations.

It is really incredible to see how fast we have members signing up. I mean just since we hit 100k we have already had 51 more signups. The signup rate is just staggering.
Great job everyone... I like doing battle alongside many of you. We be super elite and fantastically wicked code ninjas!"

HOORAY FOR A BIG DIC!
Seriously though, thanks a million, Chris, for taking the time to create this awesome little home for all us renegade coders. If it weren't for the people of DIC, I would have been hopelessly screwed on quite a few projects.
You guys rock! And I am proud to count myself among you.

A lot, lets see it normally takes about 5 pizzas/ 10 people asuming that they don't eat a ton, so probably 7 to be on the safe side... I would say about 70,000 pizzas will be needed. Will you send me some?
