Anyway I had voted for Opera - My all time favorite.

Firefox is good, good enough for me to vote for it, but i think it should be known i am also a big Opera fan. Opera is about as fast as Firefox to load pages, if not faster, and is far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far faster when starting up. I mean FAR faster, but then again anything is. That is my all-time biggest complaint against Firefox. Seriously, i have known it to take 1 minute to start up. I have FF3 now, and another thing i am noticing is that it lock up periodically for a second or two, and i have never known Opera to lock-up on me. Of all the browsers i've used, FF, IE, Safari, Flock, and Netcsape, Opera has loaded faster than any of them. Actually, i am writing this post in Opera, and i have recently made it my default browser. The more i use it the more i like it. The only thing i don't like about it is that it doesn't have a spell checker like FF and Safari. The icon at the left of my post says Firefox, but i might be changing it to Opera soon.

I like Links more than Lynx.

I stopped using Firefox when version 2 came out. I know no-one was forcing me to upgrade, but it just seemed like such a regression.

Galeon is a really nice browser if you use Gnome.

Opera is really nice, but I don't Qt apps (and in Linux, it's a Qt app).

Firefox 3.0 is a definite improvement. I use it at home and at work.

I would have chosen opera as a tie with firefox if it wasn't for their ugly skin.

I've never had it lock up, and it always starts really fast. Slowest it's been is been when I was doing a bunch of other crap, and it took like 3 seconds.

That's a pretty silly reason considering there are a lot of different themes for Opera.

Tango is personally my favorite.

You are talking about FF right? You must be using v1 or something, because i have used FF2&3 across many computers and it is VERY SLOW on all of them. You are very blessed not to have this problem. Even on Linux, it takes forever to start up.

@the lockup problem: my computer in general is pretty screwey and FF is not alone when it comes to lock-up problems. Visual Studio, Paint Shop Pro, FF, IE, Explorer, all of them have a lock-up problem. That's Windows for ya.

I have FireFox 3!

Well, I dunno why, mine just starts up very close to instantly if I'm not doing a lot of other crap when I start it up. Such as a virus scan or something.
