If you use Linux and don't know, it's probably 'bash'.

If you use Windows and don't know, it's probably 'cmd.exe'.

If you don't use the command line, don't vote.

I voted bash (even though my avatar is a cmd.exe). When it comes to looking good, linux's command line wins.

I actually should've included Windows Powershell.

I haven't used it and it hasn't really gotten a lot of attention AFAICT in the IT news world, but from what I've read Microsoft actually did a good job on it.

I like Bash, but I'm gradually switching my machines over to Zsh. Shell scripting is a little nicer, is the main reason.

One thing i have used and liked is PowerCMD. It's for windows, and basically just a tabbed version of cmd.exe, but i like it.

I voted other for PowerShell... I personally really like it.

But as for *nix shells, I like bash.

On Unix I use either Borne or Korn Shell, as for Windows Command Line.

Korn shell puts food on my table. Not literally, but enough for me to vote it as my favorite.

Plus I really lie that you can invoke vi at the command prompt to change your command before you enter it.

Oops, type-o. esc (takes you out of input mode) ^ (takes you to the beginning of the line) dw (delete the 1st word)

It's like... magic!
