I was looking at an old factory in streetview, and I noticed some text floating above it partially obscured by clouds (see screenshot).
I mean it makes sense that they'd do it, I'm just curious why I never noticed them before.

It might just be my imagination, but has anyone else noticed watermarks in Google maps?
I was looking at an old factory in streetview, and I noticed some text floating above it partially obscured by clouds (see screenshot).

I've never seen it before ever since you pointed it out. Strange, but it does make sense. After all they took and destributed the picture.

It can be seen from directly above as well.
I drove by there yesterday and saw no mysterious writing in the sky, so that's ruled out.
