On a side note, based upon the GLOWING recommendations that were given here in this thread, I've purchased a copy of Kingdoms of Amalur. Gotta say, that while it's a really cool game with some awesome concepts, I have a hard time comparing it to Skyrim.
To me, KoA reminds me more of World of Warcraft mixed with a touch of God of War.

I killed the thread? Oh god, I killed the thread! How could this have happened? How could I slaughter the thread without even trying? Oh, I am so sorry for killing the thread!

11853. It's not dead, just taking a breather. It's gone a couple days, then someone will remember and check back on it.

Let's all take a moment of silence in remembrance of the "Count to a million" thread that was brutally murdered just days ago by the known tread killer, Magius96. It's count will forever live on in our hearts as we continue to reach for the million that it held so dear.

Now for some comic book style death. Turns out it was Aresh who died and not the thread (hopefully).

Aresh has been here, he just hasn't posted, or at least not to this thread anyways.

Yah, I would never compare KoA to Skyrim. Everyone seems to be comparing every RPG to Skyrim nowadays. Makes me sad considering there are so many different variants to the RPG genre and I worry that developers might all try to make something similiar.
Creators of Dragon Age are all like, hey, our third game is gonna be immersive and large like skyrim. /end rant
Aresh. Are ya dead?

I swear, none of us can count at all! LOL...
Yeah, my next game is going to be huge and will include crafting, potion making, spell making, enchanting, and a lot of other things that you see in a lot of other games...but it's not going to be compared to Skyrim because it'll be a totally different beast.
Personally, I like Oblivion much better than Skyrim. Skyrim was much more limiting on what you could do. I loved the fact that I could create my own spells and enchantments in Oblivion. Oh sure, it could be used in such a way to imbalance the game, but hey that was part of the game. While I love Skyrim, I hated the fact that you can't create custom spells or enchantments. Oh sure, they added the ability to craft weapons and armor, but that isn't anything special since virtually everything you can craft can also be purchased with the over abundance of coin that you will invariably collect. My biggest pet peeve about Skyrim, other than the lost customizability, is the presence of all those blasted mountains that are nearly impossible to climb unless you just happen to follow the prescribed path up them.

Was I here, or wasn't I? A slow drifting wasp of smoke is all that remains to point any evidence to the possibility of my presence, or was that the smoke left over from when the thread was recently murdered?
