Modern Operating Systems

Posted 18 August 2008 - 11:35 AM

Woohoo, I just picked up a copy of Tanenbaum's Modern Operating Systems at a used textbooks store for $5!

This book, different edition though.

It's basically brand new, I was pretty surprised to find it. :^:

When I was in school, we used the dragon book as our text for compilers class...scintillating reading! LOL. It did teach me how to build a compiler though...

I have been looking for a copy of the dragon book for a reasonable price, but even the old school copies with left over stains for college keggers are selling at 50$.

Great find though. Hope you enjoy.
