Well I just saw it today and I have mixed emotions about it. It was hands down my favorite movie of the year but some of my favorite parts were taken out. There was no mention of huorns and the assult on isengard was very dissapointing, and they totally left off the shelob and frodo's capture. I figured that this was going to happen but to a smaller scale than it did. It seamed like they had to rush throught the whole movie and it seamed to get out of pace it some points. I wish that when it comes out on DVD they would release a 6 hour version or something to fill in the gaps but alas they won't.

But if you haven't seen it yet, make sure it is a trip you take.

I saw the movie "ENOUGH" twice because I just got off work and 3girl(friends) from my school wanted to see it w/ me.

I then saw it later that week with my ex Girlfriend without her knowing I saw it before hand (with three other people......)

First time I've seen a movie based on a classic novel where they integrated humor (and even cheezy sometimes) without slaughtering the respectability of the movie!

Treebeard was the best character. You can't deny that.

Shit, I'm going to see it again. Friday maybe.

No doubt, I'm just dissapointed that they left so much of the attack on isengard out, it only lasted about 2 minutes which was just too muct of a tease. And there were no huorns!

yeh, i saw it last night... it was good, but definitely not as cohesive as the first movie. but it's the intermediary part of the story... most of it has to do with travelling and fighting, not much to think about there. i personally thought Gollum was portrayed too much like a sappy, uglier Jar-Jar Binks. he got totally wussified, and he's supposed to be evil. anyhoo, the battle at Helm's Deep more than made up for any Gollum stupidity, what with the body count contest, dwarf tossing, and such. muy excellente! and the attack on Isengard was sorta disappointing because of its brevity, but hey it can't be a 12-hour movie (and you know it could be), so they had to sacrifice some things to keep the story flowing along. still, Ents lobbing boulders was pretty damn awesome.
