Why do you have to be so negative?

Sorry if it sounded negative, it wasn't supposed to be.

Feedback doesn't mean just saying "hey ur good lol" . You aren't even the OP so I don't know why you are complaining when people give their opinions. If the OP doesn't want feedback and just wants to get ego stroked then he shouldn't ask for feedback.

I do not see the feedback as negative but it is definitely honest and I want to thank you all who provides it.

The point of the project is presentation style only - it makes application look attractive and professional, nothing more. I did not quite understand what abgorn means by "target" but I assume that this is a real usage cases. I am currently working on it.

In general, the component is suitable for ANY .NET Windows Application.

I have much more ideas but my first priority is to prove that the project is useful. That's why I am asking your opinions. If the project finds its customers then I will continue development. I was thinking to develop some useful software based on this component but that was not the purpose of the project. I specifically want to provide component only. Actually, there are tons of similar components designed specifically to provide appearance for software. There are many of them on ComponentSource and DevDirect so it proves that there is a market. My component stands out because it has unusual Desktop-style paradigm and I am not sure industry accepts it. What are your opinions on this?

If the point of the project is presentation style only, then you've done a kick ass job on doing that! And as for future development, I'd love to see what features you'd add because it has a wide range of possiblilities and it could turn out to be the next Compiz-Fusion.

I can't really see how most of that would be used in a normal program but it looks like an awesome UI for a desktop OS. There is one thing about it that bugs me though... that ripple effect seems like overkill and distracts the user.

Have you thought about adding more standard UI elements? The style and effects you have are really nice. It'd be great to see what kind of window frames and controls you could do, along with input controls.. sets of buttons, menus, scrollingbars, etc .

Yes, I have a lot of great ideas. Possibilities for the project are almost endless but at this stage I have to stop being software developer and completely turn to salesperson for a while. I am going to continue project as long as there is a demand for it.

Is it Open-Source?
