i was making up a list of music videos i want to download because i think they're really cool:

Coldplay - Trouble: has anyone seen this video? i think there are 2 versions, because the one i halfway-downloaded was not the one i saw on MTV. God, the one i saw was awesome! it looked like stop-motion animation. coolness.

Smashing Pumpkins - Disarm: that video is coooool. black and white is highly underrated and often misused. but it never looked better here.

Bjork - All Is Full Of Love: the robotic Bjork is a hottie. wow. the song, the imagery... totally beautiful.

Radiohead - Knives Out: this is one of the most messed-up videos i have ever seen. that little Thom mouse head at the end is especially disturbing. but it's like watching a train wreck. i mean that in a good way. it's brilliantly insane.

Five for Fighting - Superman: it's a new video, but the way John transitions from scene to scene is wicked cool. and it's a great song.

Garbage - I Think I'm Paraniod: Shirley Manson dancing around in a short skirt with sparkly knickers. need i say more? :) i thought not.

Weezer - Buddy Holly: really a breakthru video. this was really the first video of its kind, collaging old Happy Days footage with new footage. hilarious video.

Radiohead - Fake Plastic Trees: Thom riding in a shopping cart? brilliant.

Aerosmith - Fly Away From Here: okay, this video was seriously underplayed. it's bad ass. the futuristic cityscape and the fighting robots should be cheesy as ####, but it comes off as new and innovative. besides, Jessica Biel in a bikini and boots doesn't hurt, either.

who can beat a woman who looks better and better every video she makes?  then again i dig older chicks...

then again... are we talking like favorite video?  or our favorite band's best video?  because the King of POP makes kick ass videos, but i wouldn't buy any of his CDs...
