What are C/C++ dependancies?

I was thinking of starting to learn C or C++ because I've learned Java pretty decently But I'm not sure what the dependancies for it are(like the the JRE in Java) , so can someone please help me?

The only dependencies are the ones you include in your program, like SDL, DirectX, curl.... Whatever libraries you include that require an external DLL.

There aren't any dependencies, as such. As MorphiusFaydal said, you just need the dlls for particular libraries, such as SDL, OpenGL, etc
