Im explaining th eproblem ,

" I have two different lifecycles. 1. Enquiry & 2. NPD.
There are two different input and Folder cards for enquiry & NPD.
I have generated new enquiry (enquiry No:EX001) and fill the fields in Input Form.
As example fields in Inquiry input Form: {Customer Name, Enquiry Date, Due Date, Enquiry Author, Comments, etc}.

Now in NPD input form fileds are {Ref. Enquiry No, + all fileds mentioned in Enquiry input form. } Ref. Enquiry No filed is in dropdown and available all the updated enquiriy no's are available.

Now Requirement is: While im generating the New NPD. in NPD input Form when i select the Ref. enquiry no: EX001, then rest of the fileds should come filled automatically like Customer Name, Enquiry Date, Due Date, Enquiry Author, Comments, etc.)

how i create API in vb.net for do this?
