I own the gold version of the NES Zelda, I know i've finished it at least once in the past, but I can't think off the top of my head how to beat where you're at.
Hopefullyl this walkthrough helps: http://www.gamefaqs....ame/563433.html

Try looking up Evolution (I think that was the name). I was watching him play it and it's pretty good. Almost like a very limited (very very) Spore!

... and with the MOST REPETITIVE OVERWORLD MUSIC, EVER!!
I can count the notes still and it's been years since I beat it!
There's about 16 notes played through and there's a pause with just the base beat, and then it repeats! It's like 8 seconds long!
What's worse is they just reuse it with different instruments. It sounds like they hired a homeless person to compose the music and paid him with a sandwich.

OMG
I need to copy my NES emulator over on to the laptop~ I don't go on my desktop PC enough any more (loads slower)
omg, what to play?
"I'm an emo kid, non-conforming as can be, you can be non-conforming too if you look just like me. I have paint on my nails and makeup on my face, I'm almost emo enough to start shaving my legs" ... "cuz emo, is one step, below transvestite"
For those of you who don't know what I'm on about
Warning: It's 3 minutes and 6 seconds you'll never get back.

(I know it because the kid who I sat next to in college played it constantly for the whole time I was there)
Yes. I know the words.
EDIT: Dammit, I commented it (to reply to someone getting attitude) and called them emo. But now it's in the wrong place and out of context.

Bit of a fail on my part, really...

Now look here back in my day, I've played Megaman, Thunder Force IV, Star Tropics, and all sorts of good old fashioned video games with good old fashioned music tracks that are completely awesome. Now of course, gameplay is important, but bad repetitive music detracts from the gameplay unless you turn the sound off. And then it feels kind of empty to eat helpless animals for EVO points while listening to your mp3s.
