There is an easy way to get rid of this whole "They can't compare" situation.
Considor you know both languages at an expert level.
If the internet 'government' said "There is just to much code going on. We must remove either PHP or Javascript"

which would you REMOVE?'



My answer is to remove javascript

You can't compare them.

For server-side processing, I use PHP.
For client-side processing, I use Javascript.

Which do you like better? Pizza or band-aids?

Why use 2 when you could just use ASP for both server & client?

Then again, there is that nasty 'doesn't work w/Netscape' thing.....

because ASP sucks ass. thats why.
