Hallo gabahabe,

I am new with wxWidget. I have read your tutorial. There you told to download wxMSW-2.8.9-Setup.exe and compile it after installing codeblocks, mingw and wxMSW. I have code::blocks 10.05 (around 79 mb installer) in my windows 7 laptop and mingw(came with code::blocks) at "C:\Program Files (x86)\CodeBlocks" and "C:\Program Files (x86)\CodeBlocks\MinGW" respectively. I downloaded wxPack_v2.8.12.01.exe instead of wxMSW-2.8.9-Setup.exe and installed it the default location "C:\SourceCode\Libraries\wxWidgets2.8" asked during installation.

During installation, I used the full installation option which installs
(1)wxFormBuilder,
(2)wxWidgets Addition,
(3)wxWidgets Addition compiled by -
(a)visual c++ -
(i)lib's,
(ii)Dll's,Visual C++ 10.0 compiled,
(b)mingw gcc 4.4.1-
(i)Lib's,
(ii)Dll's).

Now, do I need to do compile or build anything to use wxWidget in code::blocks? What is the difference between the files wxMSW.exe and wxPack.exe?
