Publish App

Posted 30 October 2008 - 01:10 PM

Hi,
I think this is the simple bit?

My project now works and I want to make it executable, zip it and let others try it.
What is the best way to do this?

Graham

the quick and dirty way would be to browse the folder, and go to Bin>Release (it might be Bin>Debug depending on how you set it up) and copy all those files to someone elses computer and they should be able to run it. but this is not the best way to do it.you will prob have problems if you are using a database. if you are looking to publish it within a business, then look into ClickOnce deployement.

Also, consider Google Code which is a pretty nice looking way to present your code.
