why does english have to suck so bad!!!!

so, whos in college, and whose still in high school? graduated? degrees? etc? tell me about your school.

me, i go to wright state, and i love the school. its right next the the air force base, so there are a lot of hotties in uniform walking around also, it kinda sucks because i have to take english. i took it for 13 years. im done. i are speaking english just fine!!!! i also have to take 4 writing intensive courses, in addition to eng 101 and 102, in order to get into the college of engineering and computer science. my major is computer engineering, and so far im thinking...... why did i chose this? XD

I graduated University of Toledo in May. I been a professional in the industry since 2000. I look forward to landing a better job soon since I recently lost the one I had of 5 years at the Bank. I hate the financial sector - no stability.

I went to school, and stayed on for a year of sixth form to do business, german, product design, and ICT.

By the time came to decide if I wanted to stay on a second year and get my A Levels (I got AS (A subsidiary) levels) there was a new college course opening up. "Game Design"

I went to a few meetings about it, to make sure it suited what I wanted to do, and it sounded perfect. What I didn't know at the time was that my local college is full of arseless teachers who can't even be fucked to turn up 90% of the time. Even when they did show up, all the could think to do was let us sit and play games~ they were clueless.

I dropped out come Christmas, and started teaching myself programming.

And the rest is history.

In the near future, I'm hoping to get into the IT industry, preferably programming, but anything will do at the minute. I've got my second interview with a company next week, and it's sounding quite promising, but I've learned not to get my hopes up.

And there you have it. You know a lot about me now.

I graduated from the Alaska Vocational Technical Center last May with 2 certs., Web Developer and Application Developer, specializing in OOP and SQL database development. Currently working for Alaska Dept. of Fish & Game, Exxon Valdez Oil Spill Trustee Council as a Programmer/Analyst. I also do a lot of freelance work on the side, i.e. Web designs and small software applications for businesses. But at work I mainly develop dynamic database driven Web apps.

I graduated a long time ago. I've been working since then. I currently work for Bell Canada, the largest telco in Canada.

I have degrees in Mathematics/Economics (major/minor) and Computer Engineering.

I like long walks on the beach, and looking down on people. I less than three computers!!11!1one11one!

heh, engineering is writing intensive in general. im skipping eng 102 for a quarter. 2 w.i. courses in one quarter = d00m!!! im still contemplating a minor. i was thinking web/graphic design, or electrical engineering. i like to electricute stuff especially myself. meh. me vs. soldering iron = soldering iron wins. ;_; every time...
