I love to travel but I hate doing the whole tourist thing with a passion. Some of the best places in and around a destination are usually the local hangs or hotspots that tourists know nothing about. I have a place like this near me as well, its called Abrams Falls. To get there you have to hike about two miles around this gorge passing two smaller waterfalls on your way. The main waterfall is breathtaking. Its so beautiful!! You can walk around behind the falls as well, letting the water fall down in front of you! There's been a few people killed trying to jump off down into the water hole at the bottom and a couple of people just fell acting stupid! Its an amazing place that anyone passing through VA should visit

I took some pictures from my last hike there. Im not the best photographer in the world but hopefull you can see how easy this place is to love!! At night, its amazing!! The stars are so pretty and to fall asleep with the sound of a waterfall behind you is heaven

Nick Duffy, a lead member of West Midlands Ghost Club, told us he was intrugued by this new theory: "It's as likely as any of the others - so it could well be," he said.
