My last long hike was to Mt Rogers, VA. Its also wonderful. Its really unique to anywhere else in that it has wild horses that have been on the Mountain for 500 years:




The whole trail is full of blueberry trees and blackberries so you get to munch as you go! It's gorgeous but you have to really hike it to see it. You gotta get in the backcountry (this means days of hiking). This is my tent! I love it! You can sleep under the stars and no bugs!! Completely mesh top. The Particle13 by NorthFace Rules!!! Im such a gearhead!!



This is one of the views of the mountain range and "The Bucket"(cliff offset to left). This was our eventual destination. Its 689' of rockface with a stream underneath. We got there after two days of hiking and spent the night. The next morning we started to climb it and got to the top and back down by evening. Then you get to skinny dip!! Loved it! You guys dont know what you're missing!



Anyway, you can see that I like the outdoors!! I would be miserable without being able to get out a couple times a month! Just me and a couple girlfriends who are just like me We have way too much fun together!

Couldn't resist..

Unique places around were I live.. we live a pretty boring place so I'll say the one apartment next door. No one ever stays there more then a couple months without sneaking out with out paying the rent, or fighting with each other all night keeping evey one around awake. My families started takeing bets every time some one new moves in has to how long they'll stay. Like the place is cursed or something.

Here in Vancouver there is the Van Dusen Gardens. It is somewhat of a tourist attraction, but sometimes a bit remote for the masses to get to. Here are some pictures of "some" of the gardens...





In the image below, I am in the center of the maze. If you want to come find me, go there, get to the center and then try to take the golden apple. But only if you dare! Some say I am a minotaur, but I prefer to be called a "handsom man full of bull".



Then every xmas they decorate it with thousands of lights and let you walk through at night.

my best place in my area is the farm in, its a hotel that has majority of the major animals here in south africa, i know the owners sone(we went to school together) and i go play with the lions in the cage, also they have 2 cheetahs in there back yard and they act like house cats, i love going there to play with the animals and it also feels like you are in the middle of the bush with no city around.

This is incredible!! It's truly enchanting! I had hoped to get something like this put up, ideas!! I came from a poor family (growing up) and I used to ask all the Dr's and Dentists's (the richest people I knew as a kid) where the prettiest place they had ever been was. Most would brush me off kind of just speaking to me as a child....but this one Dr. stooped down and looked me in the eyes and said "I have been all over the world little Bella, but by far the place that I believe resembles heaven is British Columbia" That has always stayed with me and one of these days my friend I will pass your way and I will steal your "golden apple!"
