There's a huge area of untamed land with eroded natural and man-made dirt roads, plenty of coyotes howling and yipping back here. It makes for some great walking through the desert. For some reason, there's random signs like these out in the middle of nowhere:

I am trying quite hard to insert a picture of a Zeppelin. this picture is special because I took it myself just before going for flight over Lake Constance.

Theres not really any place of interest where I live, but there is a few places a few towns down. ( its south west VA...BFE )

1.) Acid lake that few people know about how to get there ( I'm serious too. Kinda like the Dante's Peak thing )

2.) Pilot Mt. it just looks funny hehe (if anyone watches Andy Griffith this is Mt. Pilot that they talk about. I'm 30min away from Mayberry (Mt.Airy)

Columbia Mo has the Devils Ice Box.

And near by Rocheport has the only tunnel on the old KATY railroad line. that is now one hell of a bike path. If you have enough time and endurance you can ride it all the way from STL to KC and further.



the other side of that tunnel was used in the movie adaptation of sometimes they come back by stephen king.
