Ok, so i am sitting in class (Intro to Micro Computers) and i relized that my teacher can't say "Formula"
Teacher: "Up here, in this address box is where you put the Formurler"
Me: "?? WTF is a Formurler??"

oh, and according to her (teacher), you don't push a key on the keyboard. you either mash it or you click it.....

and another

GirlFriend: "Do you want me to go get a buggy"
Me: "You mean a Shopping Cart?"
GirlFriend: "Ya, a Buggy"

You got anything like this that agervates you??

No, GA accents do not drive me crazy.
The worst is my C# teacher (class == complete joke) who is Chinese and is almost impossible to understand. My favorite is when he attmepts to say "digital" and it comes out more like "dihyl"

@josiahb he's making a rant about accents/pronunciation and then misspells exactly one word pretty much the way many people mispronounce it. hmm. . . .

I have a general problem with people who bitch about accents, particularly when the people they are bitching about do not have english as a first language. So I choose to pick and poke for my own personal amusement, even if it is deliberate it still gets on my tits.

He's talking about people from Georgia, and I assume the State of Georgia, not the country near Russia. I'm pretty sure most people from GA, USA grow up speaking English.

The main part of this is not just GA but the entire USA, where their first language was english

It makes me wounder how English became with soo many different accents.......
But anyways here are a couple more

Onced and Twiced are words.....
Fixinto is one word.......
Fix is a verb, Example: "I'm fixin to go to the store"

And i hear this all the time.....I just moved from florida and every one looks at me funny when i just say
"Im going to the store"
and not
"Im fixin to go to the store"

Do you know how many accents there are in the U.K? Pretty much every region has their own distinct accent.
Which particular accent do you mean? Queens English? Scouse? Brummie? Manc? Cockney? (the list goes on and on)

i'm a big fan of the aussie accent. when i went to new orleans this summer i sat next to a couple girls from australia on the plane and we hung out with them for the weekend. they can make anything sound awesome.
