What complaments computer science/engineering majors?

Nykc is right, but business administration or such wouldn't be a bad choice either .

well, i think business is just a cop out. i'm not really looking forward to working as a secretary, writing papers/letters or such. i just want to maybe work in a cubicle somewhere >_> i was also thinking of working for a gaming company, but i think that might be a little too optimistic. i just.... hate english. speaking of, i need to head to english right now

I can tell you that general art is not going to hurt, if you have never taken art. But at the same time, if you could find a digital/computer art class that would be a lot more helpful.

I do not think that the two have much in common as far as money/career. If you go into gaming, your not going to be the artist and the coder. I would think that art would be more of a hobby, so take elective classes or even better take the class for P/F or audit the class.

Anyway, you have time, in the end your major is much more important, and the minor is just for the first interview, and for that, it is mostly just to tell people what your interested in.

IMHO,YMMV

You could man up and get something outside of your comfort zone. I have a Native American Studies minor with my Comp Sci major. Though in NeoT's case - Tech Writing.

Considering the bulk of my programming career was working in the financial sector I can assure you a minor in Business or Tech Writing is the way to go. Especially when most of your coding will consist of documentation.
