Currently I am using MS Project but I am really looking into using dotproject or openmind http://www.matchware...nd/default.htm
I just had a demo of openmind and I must say that I was really impressed. Plus I think he said the price was only like $389 which is pretty check compared to what MS project is. Even though dotproject has some great features I am really trying to push openmind as the product of our choice. I really feel like it will be easier to use than Project or dot project.

I am no professional, but when I start any project, I use a Comp Book/Notebook and keep all the project's details and whatnot in. It works for me. :D

I tried todoyu, couldn't get it working, so I decided to chuck it all and write my own.
Yeah, I'm crazy.

My work uses Telelogic Synergy, it's very fancy and I'm sure prohibitively expensive for a lot of developers, but it works pretty nicely.

At work we use a mix bag of "whatever works". Really it's just 'Sourcegear Vault' for version control, bugzilla for bugs, and connectwise for god knows what. I want to shoot my computer any time I have to go into bugzilla or connectwise.

At home I have my linux server set up with SVN for version control and 'trac' for project management. It doesn't have all kinds of bells and whistles, and really I'm a minimalist at heart so I don't want all kinds of crap. It's fast, easy, has a wiki, milestons, and bug tracker. I'm content with it.

I've debated moving away from SVN to Git... but haven't really taken the leap. I know SVN so well, and my teams tend to be really small (3 guys max, and most usually only me screwing around with my own pet projects). Having to set up git, reintegrate trac with git, and convert all my old projects over to git (why have to version control server apps running?), it just isn't really that reasonable a task at this time.

I used few online tools such as Harvest & Toggl for project management but found certain issues such as downtime and speed while using Harvest that forced me to use Replicon cloud based time management software.

This app really has been very simple and hassle free and is so quick to be implemented with the easy accessibility from any location. You should definitely check it out.
