Alright, I have a volume-knob on my keyboard. It worked for a while, but now it's messed up.

When i turn the volume knob up, the comp's volume goes down. When I turn the knob down, the volume doesn't change.

So, I don't know how knob switches work, but If anyone does, or has experienced something like this before, could you give me any tips? (I can screw apart the keyboard no-prob)

Pour gasoline all over it.  Now line the edges with chocolate pudding just because.  Now light it.  If you don't like it making you mad, this should fix it!

I would say it's more likely a software/firmware issue, not the switch. Check your level controls on the sound card software, but if it turns dow while turning up.... Well, that puts me at a loss...

I still think it's hardware related, because it was working fine when i first got it, but now it's a POS. (It's made by HP if you were wondering)
