i have never been on a "programming forum" that allowed profanity. maybe that is why the volume of posts here is so low compared to the others i frequent.

You know this isn't my site, nor am I a mod, admin, or anyone with any considerable influence here and I don't claim to speak for Chris or any other team member, but you are retarded. I've been here for over a year. There are lots and lots of posts. Up until today I have never seen anyone get offended or bitch about someone swearing in a text environment.
That sort of language rarely makes it way into the actual programming sub forums. Caffeine lounge? Yes. Corner cubicle? Sometimes. Actual programming question areas? Once in a blue moon.
Your concern is the guy's sig. Send him a PM if you are so disgusted with the word fuck. Or send a PM to a mod. The Corner cubicle isn't even the right location for this thread.
