I would argue that Eclipse is one of the best IDEs when it comes to Java. JCreator Pro costs money, and JCreator LE lacks code completion and plugins.
Also the fact that Eclipse works on OS X and Linux is nice.

For me, every time I switch OS's I have a different IDE. I know it sounds like work, and it could be if I didn't use each OS for different stuff.
For Mac OS I use XCode,
on Linux I use KDevelop,
and on Windows I use VisualStudio.
I'm drooling over the prospect of QtCreator, though. I can't wait until they iron out some of the bugs (like crashing when the code-complete pops up and I press tab.) Since QT provides libs for both C++ and Java I think it will serve many people's needs.

C/C++/Objective-C => Xcode on mac, GEdit on linux
PHP/Javascript => Dreamweaver
REALBasic => The RB editor (Fancy that)
Java => Netbeans
((I do however have a copy of Eclipse on this machine, I'm still trying to find a use for it.))
