Castle

Posted 09 December 2008 - 07:29 AM

Hi all,

Many many years ago (91 - 94-ish, don't really remember), my dad and I used to play a game on a console. It was connected to the TV and it was just a keyboard. Nothing else, and you insert a cartridge into it and then you play. Alright, and there was this game we used to play, you'd rescue a princess. All we remember is, it was called Castle. I don't know if that's the full game or what it was called exactly.

Does anybody remember the title of the game ? Or the name of the console ? It wasn't an Atari, not a Nintendo, not an Acer, not a Sega. Anyone ? Any clues ? It was an awesome game and it bring back lots of sweet memories. I'd really appreciate any help on this.

Oh and by the way, it isn't Return to Castle Wolfenstein. It was a top down kind of game. Like Donkey-Kong. Hehe, thanks in advanced !

No worries I'm laughing too. The thing is, I really can't describe any better. I wish I could. I can hum the background tune but that wouldn't help much either. Well, the title had "Castle" in it. It was a top down game. You'd rescue a princess. You'd have to get some keys. I just thought someone might have had any idea. It's not Mario that's for sure =D Thanks again for trying.

Except those were games on consoles that weren't microcomputers with cartridge slots from the 80s.
