i got it last night.. drove to nashville, TN for a record release party, was barely one of the first 50 in line.. so i got a limited edition copy of the album plus a 7-inch that they aren't selling in stores (for free). the B-Side on the 7-inch is called "Paperbag Writer".

the party was pretty cool. it was at a movie theatre and they were showing live radiohead footage + meeting people is easy on the big screen. lots of hot radiohead chicks. i didn't know radiohead had such an attractive female fanbase.

i just went and bought it again anyway. i wanted to leave the special edition in its plastic.. i've already looked through the book that came with it.. maybe it'll be worth something some day. anyway, best buy is selling the album for $9.99.

what happened to a re-recorded/mixed copy of pablo honey coming out with the album as promised, i wonder.

Any of them off of the new album. 'Backdrifts' has been my favourite. Fucking fantastic on the right sound system. Been listening to it for a few weeks already but am picking it up this weekend anyway.

The Bends is probably their most "mainstream rock" album. from there they get more and more progressive-rock.
