Pretty sure if you "attempt" to make a game and call in Final Fantasy 14, and the people that make the real Final Fantasy games see it.... you are probably going to need to find lawyer cause you have a nice law suit on your hands
@Rickster090, "Let's make a game" threads usually go like this.
Person A who has very little to no programming experience makes a thread saying "Hey, let's make a game". Person A has some ideas for what (they are sure) would make a great game.
Persons B, C, and D (who are experienced programmers) decide that they will help out because they're bored and have nothing else to do.
One week later...
Person A decides that making a game is too much work and loses interest, the project dies because no one else was in it for anything but the chance to show off their l337 skills.
If you want to create a project and get other people to join, you have to show a little effort and do more than just have an idea. TBH a clone of one of the old Final Fantasy games would not be that hard to do, but no one is going to join your project until you show that you are committed.
Come back here with a working demo, and then ask for people to join.
There are a lot of easy to use tools and sprite engines out there. I'm working on one right now (you can find a link to it in my signature). I believe WolfCoder is working on one as well.
Edit: Oops, I meant to say the link is in my signature.
