Ok, I've seen this on a few screenshots now and I have to ask coz i'm lame... wow/where can I get the wahtever to show my specs on the desktop... I have a good idea how it's placed ON the desktop but the actuall "module" that gets the specs... or whatever...

here's my desktop... it's still being worked on...

I have a fullscreen flash script driving the whole thing.... I can switch wallpapers using the menu on the side (which can be closed)...

Each wallpaper is a seperate .jpg loaded into the .swf.. this way the swf is tiny (700 bytes) and I can add as many jpg at anytime as I want. I'm now writting the options section so that I can change a number of variables on the go (and which then are saved into a local shared object... like a cookie)... so If I add more images, I'll just change in the options how many there is and it will generate the buttons...

Still to do: options, mp3 player, timer to automatically change wallpapers (optional)....

Red5, could you send me the .FLA for that wallpaper thing? I think that's really cool :D

true dat. attach it thru the image attachment thing. .fla's are allowed i believe.
