I just added my new website skin 'flames'.
I still want to try different layouts, and become more individual. I think I'm close with this one.
Any first reactions to the skin are greatly appriciated!
Thanks so much!

the flames are hot definitely, i would say the left side is not downright amazing though,
i dont think anything on that side really stands out very well and even the nav is slightly diluted there.
could u pull in theflames a lil tighter to the page they juts seem kinda seperated.
i love your artwork, its downright amazing and it seems like the design (minues the flames) doesnt show it off as nicely as it could be.
good work man.

i agree with capty about the flames seeming kinda "distanced". prolly just mirroring the flames and pulling it tight (so it appears the flames are coming out behind the main window) would do the trick. other than that, nice job. i really like your ps skills...that reminds me, i need a wacom tablet too

the content bit kinda stands out of the whole layout... contrast of the white border and scroll bars ruins the nice skin...for me

The flames on the right hand side are hard to see unless the browser is maximized, or nearly maximized.

Klewlis, I'm curious if you clicked on the link, or tried re-typing in the URL, the latter might work?
capty99 & Jbssfelix - I agree now that you mention it. I like the idea of having it look lik it is behind the I frame though. Thanks!

Red|5 - I'm working on learning database driven content so that for each skin, it wil display a different image that goes with the skin. Right now, I'm stuck with using the same rectangle with a thin grey border around them.
Dr. Tim - The browser issue is my fault, I didn't test on anything smaller than a 1152 x 864 resolution. What res do you have set?
Thanks everyone for your wonderful critiques and comments! I want to get better at designing so need all the help I can get!!
