SendKey's by byte

Posted 26 December 2008 - 11:18 PM

Ok, well im trying to make a auto talker for a game.

sendkeys.send()

failed to work...

well theres a program called scar which was made for botting on the game called runescape and my friend had made a bot in it for the game im trying to make a auto talker for and he said that he had to send the byte's for the key he was trying to simulate pressing.

I was wondering how i could do this in vb.net

I was thinking keybd_event but im not so sure on how to use it ive looked all over the internet and ive had no luck so this is my last resort =/

Why dont you just do it like that?

		SendKeys.Send("What ever you want")

I play runescape even to have made a autotalker, it worked great...

For AutoTalker = 0 To 100 ' Enter a number/ how manny times to do it
AppActivate("Runescape the massive online game - Mozella Firefox") ' To set your internet browser in focus
			SendKeys.Send("You mess")
			SendKeys.Send(Chr(13)) ' Press enter
		Next

or

		Do ' do it forever
AppActivate("Runescape the massive online game - Mozella Firefox") ' To set your internet browser in focus
			SendKeys.Send("You mess")
			SendKeys.Send(Chr(13)) ' Press enter
		Loop

or

AppActivate("Runescape the massive online game - Mozella Firefox") ' To set your internet browser in focus
		SendKeys.Send("You mess")
		SendKeys.Send(Chr(13)) ' Press enter
		Threading.Thread.Sleep(3000) ' Just like a timer
