I use Notepad++ a lot, so use the default Courier font, which works fine for me.

10 pt Monaco in a terminal on my Mac. Defaults whenever I use Code::Blocks, Xcode, or Visual Studio.

And some soft looking 12pt font on my Linux box in a terminal.

AND! My terminals are *always* black with white text. Except in Vim, where I have syntax highlighting turned on. ;)

I use Courier New and syntax highlighting with whatever colors that are the editor's defaults.

Tahoma 10pt is my preference. Otherwise, whatever the default is.[font=Tahoma][size=7]

papyrus 8pt w/ default colors all the way. Not too brick-like so it's easier on the eyes for long haul sessions.

Hmm good topic - never really thought about it, I always used the default font that came with my IDE/Editors. On windows I almost use notepad exclusively which is Courier New - but as for when I work in Linux it is there defaults whatever they might be. I will have to look now.

A while back I programmed with Comic Sans MS, now i usually use Arial. Also I normally use inverted colors, staring at a white screen hurts my eyes so i normally either go (a very) light grey or white text on black, or go matrix style B)

I've been using Proggy Tiny for many years now, both in Eclipse and Vim.
